Annecy 2022: The Award Winners from a Historic Edition

  
This 2022 edition of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival and its market, the Mifa, was one of reunions and record-breaking figures.

There were 13,248 badgeholders (an 8% increase compared to 2019, our record year), coming from 106 countries, who got together for a week dedicated to animation film. Directors, producers, distributers, students, composers, and more.

"We promised you fireworks but this week was over and above our expectations! Firstly, in terms of attendance, but not only. Annecy 2022 is simply a reflection of how important animation film is worldwide: a major art form and an industry with remarkable agility that is constantly developing", declared Mickaël Marin, CEO of CITIA, the Festival organiser, during the Closing Ceremony which has just taken place in the Bonlieu Grande Salle.
