Gravitas Ventures, a Red Arrow Studios company, has acquired North America rights to Emmy® Award winning filmmaker Alex M. Azmi (“To Climb a Gold Mountain,” and the upcoming “Man and Machine”) captivating award-winning feature documentary “The Center: Gibbons and Guardians, ” which will be released across all TVOD/Digital platforms & Blu-Ray/DVD throughout the North American continent beginning on September 21st, 2021. Azmi’s new documentary is a winner of five festivals from an international film festival run of more than a dozen festivals. It tells the charming and sometimes funny, sometimes startling story of The Gibbon Conservation Center in Santa Clarita, California and features interviews with a number of the leading women who tirelessly champion these charming apes globally including Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE, founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and UN Messenger of Peace and The Gibbon Conservation Center’s Director Gabriella Skollar, MS. The film is a riveting cinematic documentary that follows the unexpected dramas at a remote nonprofit wildlife center in the California desert, weaving together the lives of endangered gibbons alongside those who care for them.
