37th warsaw film festival sets dates for october 8 17 this year

Dear Friends,
 
Writing "business as usual" this year would be totally irresponsible.
 
Well, we HOPE to organise the 37th Warsaw Film Festival October 8-17, this year.
 
We are opening submissions six weeks from now, April 1st. We are waiting for
brand new:
- fiction features
- documentary features
- shorts (up to 40 min, live action, animation, documentaries).
 
The early submission deadline is July 15th, and the late deadline is July 31st.
If the film is not 100% ready by deadline, we don't mind watching films before
they are properly completed, with working sound, before colour correction, etc.
 
The programme structure remains more or less unchanged.
 
We'll have the usual competitive sections with cash awards:
- International Competition
- Competition 1-2
- Free Spirit Competition
- Documentary Features Competition
- Short Films Competition.
 
The non-competitive sections are:
- Discoveries
- Special Screenings
- Family Cinema Weekend.
 
We plan on attending markets in Berlin, Hong Kong, and Cannes.
