SCRAPPY has been accepted to Muestra Otros Cines in San Nicolas, Argentina for September 19-23, 2018. Based on the Studs Terkel Award-winning poem by Donald G. Westlake, SCRAPPY was adapted for the screen and directed by Westlake's daughter, Dawn. It tells the story of a child's ability to stand up to an adult who has a momentary lapse in judgment. The film was shot on location in Pine Mountain, CA, USA by Pol Carrizo Vilarroig of Imatge Barcelona. An original score was provided by composer GC Johnson of Acoustic Labs.
SCRAPPY marks the professional acting debut of 5-year-old Nefertina Lizarraga and her dog Kong, in the titular role of SCRAPPY.
