Corto & Fieno – Rural Film Festival underlines the importance of cinematic representations of rural life in contemporary cinema. The 9th edition of the Festival intends to go on working on these subjects through films dealing with the relationship between man and land. The idea is to draw attention to rural culture, both in Italy and in other parts of the world. “Frutteto” (Orchard) is the international short films contest through which the Festival aims to give space to film projects with a focus on the rural world.
The subject of the film must follow the general theme of the Festival regarding the life and work of the land, the relationship between nature and man from a rural point of view. All genres welcome.
The Festival will be held in Omegna and Miasino, Lake Orta (Italy), on 21st, 22nd and 23rd September 2018, according to a schedule that will be announced a few weeks before the start of the event.
All submitted works must be a maximum length of 30 minutes. Videos both edited and unedited will be accepted, provided that they were completed after 1st January 2016.
