New York No Limits Film Series is seeking short films in any language or genre for its March 10th, 2016 short film event in New York City. Films should less than 39 minutes in length and completed after January 1st, 2015. All genres, including; drama, comedy, experimental, suspense, action, animation/3D, noir, silent, music video and dance accepted. Foreign language and student films are strongly encouraged to submit.

Please upload a screener if you are submitting, hard copy DVD's and publicity materials are not needed. Notification of film lineup will be sent on February 18th. The event on March 10th occurs at the Wild Project, 195 E. 3rd in NYC. NYNL strongly considers films that display a palpable reflection of the filmmaker's vision without commercial intent. Films must also exhibit a strong and clear story element and present a unique voice. The lineup is based on quality and craft only - as we have a strong record of programming films from outside the states.
Films chosen as part of the March 10th short film lineup will also be eligible to appear in our 2016 Summit, which occurs in November, with films also considered to appear 'In Competition'. Winner of Best Short Film is awarded a cash prize.
NYNL is a ongoing collection of screenings that presents the best short films from around the world in the most unique and dynamic arts city in the world. The series provides filmmakers the opportunity to present innovative, taboo and diverse films to a new audience at the state of the art Wild Project event space. Feature films are accepted throughout the year but only appear in the Summit. Awards announced at the conclusion of the Summit:
