HollyShorts is an organization devoted to showcasing the best and brightest short films from around the globe, advancing the careers of filmmakers through screenings, networking events, and various panel and forums. The HollyShorts Film festival showcases the top short films produced 40- minutes or less.
The 2015 HollyShorts Film Festival and Film Conference/Market took place over 10 days August 13-22 2015 at the TCL Chinese Theatres, OHM, and Ignited Spaces in Hollywood. Grand Prize $15,000 cash prize courtesy of ZYPE was awarded to Jamie Donoughue for his short SHOK. Over 2,200 submissions in 2015 and over 15,000 unique visitors to the festival over 10 days and we hosted our first ever online festival concurrent with the live festival via VHX.

Films and videos submitted to the Festival will be considered for competitive categories. Oscar nominated films may be submitted for screening but not in the competitive categories. By submitting your film for consideration for the 12th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival, you agree for HollyShorts to screen your short film if it is an official selection for this year's festival and are obligated to your commitment. All films with screen on DCP unless otherwise mentioned.
