WHEN WRITING A STORY FROM SCRATCH (especially if you are making it up as you go along) the subconscious is continually asking questions, mainly: ‘what happens next?’
And if you come up with an answer to your subconscious question you will call this a ‘creative thought’.
But really it was the answer to a question you asked on autopilot.
Questions and answers are the single most important thing in the CREATION of your story.
If you asked a question consciously (instead of running on autopilot) you would have two minds at work:
The conscious mind asking questions
The subconscious mind providing answers
