The International Random Film Festival is the first film festival in the world which celebrates randomness in cinema. Out of the submission 25 films are selected to compete each year. The festival is organized annually in a randomly selected location, on a random opening date. Awards are given out randomly.
One of the 25 films in the competition will be randomly selected to win the Random Grand Prix, the most prestigious, truly random film award in the world, awarded since 2010.
The 4th edition of IRFF will take place in Garpenberg, Sweden.(population: 518). The festival will be opening on the 8th of December 2013. The location and date were selected at the end of the closing ceremony of our 2012 festival in Anija, Estonia by using the Random Geographic Coordinates Generator, and Random Number Generator at Random.org.
