Miro Remo was born in Ladce, a small industrial village in the centre of Slovakia in 1983. He graduated grammar-school in 2001, then settled in Bratislava, capital city of Slovakia. For six years he worked as a graphic designer for a small IT company while studying directing at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. His three student films were shown at many festivals around the world and received more than 20 awards combined. His latest film ARSY-VERSY is the most successful film in the history of university, where Remo is in fifth of year of study. The film won 16 international and domestic prizes in the last five months of screening.
