The Miami short Film Festival (MsFF), in keeping its commitment to supporting both local and international filmmakers, will be traveling to the exotic island of Tenerife, Spain to showcase a special edition of the Festival - a selection of short films from past editions.
As an added value, MsFF, in partnership with BySan©, is thrilled to announce its cutting-edge creation - movilfest, a new and innovative concept of making short films, shot entirely with a cell phone. Both programs will be held November 4-7, 2010, hosted by the state of the art venue, Tenerife Espacio de las Artes (TEA).
To date Movilfestenerife has received over 200 submissions from all corners of the globe. The winner of Movilfestenerife will also be invited to screen during the 9th edition of the Miami short Film Festival in Miami, Florida, scheduled to run November 13-20, 2010.
Miami short Film Festival and Movilfestenerife are presented through the support and sponsorship of: McDonald's, Sony Ericsson, Cabildo de Tenerife, Septenio, Gobierno de Canarias, X Tenerife, X Tenerife Film Commission, and Tenerife Espacio de las Artes (TEA).
Entries for Movilfestenerife are still being accepted until October 30, 2010. Visit Movilfestenerife for additional information.
