Cornwall Film Festival 6-9 November 2008
We are very excited to announce a fantastic programme for Cornwall Film Festival 2008 which offers something for everybody.
South West feature premieres include Terence Davies’ Of Time and the City which will be introduced by Mark Kermode (BBC 2’s Culture Show); Fernando Meirelles’ (City of God, The Constant Gardner) Blindness with an introduction by Executive Producer Simon Channing-Williams and Mark Tonderai’s Hush with introduction by director Mark Tonderai and producer Zoe Stewart.
Board Shorts in association with Sharps Doom Bar returns to the Sandsifter in Gwithian on Saturday 8 November with short films and slideshows from a band of local and international talent, documenting the wonderful world of board riding in all its forms. Screenings will be followed by music from Mark Kermode’s Skiffle band, The Dodge Brothers and local DJs Sir Vinyl of the Fattest.
Screen Actions, the Young People’s Film Festival returns to the Princess Pavilion 6 & 7 November with a fantastic programme of screenings and workshops.
