The USA Film Festival announced NEW DATES for the 38th Annual USA Film Festival of April 21 - 27, 2008, to be held in Dallas.
The seven-day festival will feature the best new independent short and feature films from around the world, along with special tributes; the Academy-qualified National Short Film & Video Competition featuring cash awards in multiple categories; and discussions with dozens of celebrities and filmmaker guests.
ALL PROGRAMS during the seven-day USA Film Festival event will take place at the Angelika Film Center Dallas. The full Festival program and guest schedule will be announced in early April.
The prestigious USA Film Festival will continue its tradition of presenting a diverse schedule of programs during Festival Week, including retrospectives and tributes to artists who have made outstanding individual contributions to American film. Past filmmaker guests and honorees have included cinematographers Bill Butler, Owen Roizman and Conrad Hall, editor Dede Allen, production designers Henry Bumstead and Richard Sylbert, composers Mark Mothersbaugh, Quincy Jones and Elmer Bernstein, writers Donald E.
