For the first time the Ukrainian Cinema Foundation gives an overview of the country´s filmic works at the European Film Market.
The presentation will be held under the chairmanship of Mrs. Kateryna Yushchenko, Ukraine’s First Lady and Head of the Supervisory Council of the International Charitable Fund “Ukraine-3000”. Mrs. Kateryna Yushchenko also plans to attend the Berlinale and the events of the Ukrainian Cinema Foundation.
Visit us during the Berlinale at the European Film Market (EFM Exhibitor Offices, stand #535).
On February 10th, 11th and 12th, 17:00 to 18:00 hrs, a happy hour of the Ukrainian Cinema Foundation and Nemiroff will be held at the UCF stand.

These short films are included in the Ukrainian short films promotional DVD - along with the winners of the Ukrainian Panorama (Kyiv International Film Festival “Molodist”) – FREE SASHKO by Vyacheslav Katelevskyi and KATERYNA by Roman Bondarchuk/Oleg Skrypka. Included is also the winner of the
Ukrainian International Documentary Film Festival “Contact” – AGAINST THE SUN by Valentyn Vasyanovych.
The Ukrainian Cinema Foundation was founded in 2007 as a private enterprise with the aim of acquainting film professionals and audiences with the classical and newest Ukrainian films. The UCF activities include also restoration of film prints of classical Ukrainian films and DVD collections of short and full-feature films.
The Ukrainian Cinema Foundation is headed by Mr. Andriy Khalpakhchi and is founded under the chairmanship of the First Lady Mrs. Kateryna Yushchenko.
For the UCF this will be the first event to promote national cinema, followed by other events later this year:
- Festival of Ukrainian Cinema in Poland (Warsaw and Krakow)
- Organizing the Week of Ukrainian Cinema in Paris
- Presentation of Ukrainian Cinema at Cannes Film Festival
- Promotion of Ukrainian Cinema at Moscow IFF
The UCF will have its presentation with the support of international brand Nemiroff. Nemiroff Company is consistently supporting and organizing the brightest exclusive projects of the international level in sports, culture and fashion for more than 10 years. For Nemiroff participation at Berlinale will continue its series of presentations of Ukrainian cinema at the biggest international film festivals, which has started in 2007 at the 60th Cannes Film festival.
