Shoot Me : takes place from 27 to 30 October, The Hague, The Netherlands
Shoot Me is a new independent film festival in The Hague that offers a chance to young filmmakers, both local and international, to show their films to a large public.
Because of the increased use of new technology such as the Internet, digital recording and editing, creating your own film is within the reach of a growing number of people. Everybody can tell his or her story. Unfortunately, these films often don’t reach the public because they lack a platform where they can be showed and get what they deserve. Shoot me offers this platform on several unique locations in the inner city of The Hague. The ‘Filmhuis Den Haag’, the old bank safe from the ‘Nutshuis’, the ‘Affiche Gallerij’ in the ‘tramtunnel’ (Station Spui) and the Shoot me Base in the basement at Prinsegracht 8 will form the background for this promising new film festival.
The opening of the Shoot Me Film Festival on Thursday 27 October is being organised in close cooperation with VillaNuts.
