TIE 2005 The International Experimental Cinema Exposition, will run September 21-25 in Denver, Colorado, USA.
Line-up includes over 100 8mm, 16mm and 35mm films that explore beyond the limits of contemporary screen culture. The festival's various events are scheduled at several of venues and cinema-houses, including the Mayan Theatre, Museum of Contemporary Art/Denver, The Bug Theatre, The Assembly Gallery, Mercury Cafe, and the Denver Starz FilmCenter.
New films by: Peter Tscherkassky, Frank Biesendorfer, David Gatten, Tobias Schmuecking, Phil Solomon, Nick Dorsky, Martha Colburn and many others.
Rarely seen films by: Andy Warhol, Boyd Rice, Tony Hill and several others.
Expanded cinema by: Alex MacKenzie, Jason Wade and other cineastes expandistas.
Filmmakers' Art Gallery: Martha Colburn, Peter Miller, Telemach Wiesinger and other TIE-2005 filmmakers have pieces exhibiting at the Assembly Gallery September 2-25.
