The Roma Independent Film Festival (RIFF) is Italy's first independent and international film festival. Each year the RIFF celebrates six full days and nights of new Italian and international films premiering for the first time in Europe. In addition to showcasing the cutting-edge of young filmmaking talent, the RIFF offers a series of special events designed to stimulate enthusiasm and create an environment of interchange between established professionals and emerging artists, including retrospectives, roundtable discussions with top international filmmakers, workshops, live music, and VIP cocktail parties. At the closing night RIFF Awards and black tie gala, an international jury of established industry professionals will award filmmakers with prizes totaling over Euro 35,000.
The first edition of Rome Film Market will be the most exciting news of this year. In addition, Rome Film Market is already an online database that gives you instant access to 2000 available films as well as detailed information on commercial dealings within the film market.
