Rajhans Leads Canadian Delegation to Bahamas Film Festival
The inaugural One World Film Festival takes place this weekend in sunny
Nassau, Bahamas.
The festival boasts an exciting program of films from around the world, and is expected to attract some a-list celebrities who make The Bahamas their second home. The festival takes place Nov 13th to 17th and is the brainchild of Hollywood Producer, Monica Cooper.
"This film festival has been a year in the making and I hope it will allow many
filmmakers to get the exposure that they deserve," says festival founder
Monica R. Cooper. "We're excited to be bringing this film festival to
Nassau, a beautiful location for filming and fun", Says Monica.
Mohit Rajhans, who will premiere his first short film 'Code' (starring Jazz
Mann and Cherie Conda) is leading a delegate of Canadian and International
films to the festival, to bring a wider audience to these films. Other
films included in his series are The Toronto Film Festival Favorite "Go
Further", by Ron Mann and "Bollywood Bound" by: Nisha Pahuja.
"My commitment to increasing awareness of both Canadian and South Asian
films is 100 per cent furthered by working with this prestigious festival.
I am proud to be a part it", says Rajhans.
His film 'Code' was selected from over 150 short film entries to the
festival.
"I am nervous about showing my film, but I am confident that some of the
broadcasters and media will enjoy the screening."
Rajhans will be attending the festival with Ron Mann.
