The Kuala Lumpur International Short Film Festival (KLIS) is the first and only short film festival in Malaysia and it is based in the metropolitan city of Kuala Lumpur.
The Kuala Lumpur International Short Film Festival (KLIS) showcase the shorts by filmmakers from around the world to an audience of film executives and buyers, journalists, film fans and filmmakers. Along with screenings, there are seminars, workshops and parties to allow everyone the chance to share their passion for independent cinema.
The Film Festival (KLIS) aims to celebrate and recognize the excellent creativity works by international short filmmakers. To show the very best from independent filmmakers. ÉCU will be part of the event with a special screening of our four shorts winners from 2011 edition- Paths of Hate, Puppenspiel, Invertebrate and Stanley Pickle.
