After the last year’s tremendously successful first festival, Malatya Film Festival is now getting ready to bring the most exciting films to the audience between 18th to 24th November this year.With the support of the Malatya Apricot Research, Development and Promotion Foundation and Malatya Governorship, festival is led by Malatya Governor Ulvi Saran and organized by Global Mass Communication Studies Foundation.
The pre-jury members Professor Doctor Oguz Onaran, Associate Doctor Berrin Yanikkaya and academic Levent Cantek have determined the eight films to compete in Malatya as follows;‘SEPTEMBER’ Eylül by Cemil Ağacıkoğlu (World Premiere at 35th Montreal World Film Festival)

‘ZENNE DANCER’ Zenne by M. Caner Alper and Mehmet Binay The jury will evaluate the competing films in six different categories, including; the best film, best director, best actress, best actor, best script and best music.The winner of the best film award will receive the ‘Crystal Apricot Award’ for Best National Feature Film; as well as approximately $16,000 cash prize.
