I want to organize a film festival in Ghana just to showcase movies from other countries that we will never see in the cinema here, can you help. This will be in conjunction with the univ of Ghana , school of performing arts, as they have a very nice amphitheatre but it might be on the grass so people can come with blankets and pillows and camp chairs.
The concept is very simple, when I use to live in Perth Australia, during the summer month the university of west Australia had a international film festival where they showed a foreign film every week so I was able to watch films from Denmark, Sweden, Iran , Holland so many countries and it was very good, it was an outdoor setting and you could have a picnic before the event.
I want to create a 4 day international festival in Ghana where we can watch foreign movies from France,Holland, Denmark, Sweden, Canada, Australia, South Africa and others but don’t even know where I will get the films from.
