The 2nd International Festival du Film Merveilleux starts on June 30, 2011 at Theatre Douze (6 avenue Maurice Ravel) with an animation film program from the company TeamTO. The Festival offers a 3-day program of enchanting and magical short, medium and long movies.
The Jury is composed of following members: Xavier Gens ( Hitman,Frontière(s) ), Caroline Vié ( jounalist ), Nicolas Alberny ( 8th Wonderland),Fabrice o Joubert ( French Roast, despicable me, shark tale)
A selection of short movies from Singapore, France, Senegal, Greece, Finland, Israel, Iran and even from South Korea will be screened during the festival.
The Association Talulah was founded in 2007 by Benedicte Beaugeois, her brother Jérémie and their childhood friend Maureen Gerby.
It is a festival about imaginary, magic and dreams as these themes are present in all cultures, in all civilisations and throughout different times occupying an important role in cinema. The Festival suggests in addition to the kaleidoscope, out-of-competition programs for American movies (le Quart d'heure Américain ) and British movies (the Tea-Time).
