The Northern Film Festival has selected eight film for the Interregional Competition 2011. The complete lineup, comprising first or second feature films concur for the Matad’Or and a cash prize of 10.000 euro. Belgian filmmakers Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne will inaugurate the second edition of the FUNDACIÓN MAPFRE's 4+1 Film Festival in Madrid with Boy with a Bike (2011), the film that won the Jury Prize in the last edition of the Cannes Film Festival.
