We attended today in Madrid a press conference at the Academia de Cine in which all Spanish films to be shown in San Sebastian have been announced.

At a press conference at Filmhouse in Edinburgh this morning, Artistic Director Chris Fujiwara announced details of his inaugural programme for the 66th edition of the Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF). A couple of years ago, the Vancouver International Film Festival (October 1 – 16, 2009) used to be one of the best film festivals, not just in North America, but in the world. Wednesday was the first official day of the festival, but to a few select few it really started on Tuesday.
Tuesday was the arrival of the Da Vinci Code Key Players: Dan Brown, Ron Howard, Paul Bettany (who also starred in Wimbledon...a quality piece of romantic comedy with a superb soundtrack in my opinion), Ian McKellen, Audrey Tautou, and Tom Hanks...to name a few.
