Taiwan International Children s Film Festival TICFF2020 9th annual Taiwan International Children’s Film Festival is calling for entries! Held once every two years, the festival brings young children and adults too, to enjoy the works in this international exhibition, which will take place March 29, 2018 to April 05, 2018. PTS, the organizers of this event, are now signing up entries for this tremendous series of showings, attracting some of the finest film makers from around the world with the lure of USD 25,000 in prize money. A biennial film festival, TICFF brings young children and adults to enjoy the works in this international exhibition, which will take place in April 2018 for its eighth edition. Public Television Service (PTS) Foundation, the festival organizer of this event, is now signing up entries to attract some of the finest filmmakers around the world with the lure of USD 24,500 in prize money. Except for showing outstanding dramas, documentaries, animations, and television/web programs, the festival juries also bestows a Taiwan Award on the selected filmmaker for the best work which represents Taiwan and exemplified the highest standards in the industry. TICFF 2014 CALLS FOR ENTRIESEntries Open to the public Eligibility: Any film produced after August 2011 and suitable for viewers 12 years old and younger is eligible. Formats: 1. File Format: .mov / .mp4 / .m4v, stereo audio 2. Encoding: h.264 3. Frame Size: SD - 640x480 or 720x480 and HD - 1920x1080 or 720x1280 ※ In order to ensure film quality for judging, avoid time codes, watermarks, or anything else that may affect the viewing quality. 4. Aspect Ratio: Standard HD or SD -16:9 / 14:9 / 4:3 5. File Size: The following size restrictions ensure viewing quality. To reduce uploading time and avoid the risk of upload failure due to overly large files please comply with the following requirements – DO NOT segment video files. a) Productions under 60 min in length - must not exceed 3GB b) Productions between 61 and 95 min in length - must not exceed 5GB ※ Please Note: The Film Festival Submission Platform has implemented advanced server and domain isolation, but your uploading time will depend on the speed and quality of the network connection you are using. Before you begin uploading please confirm the quality of your network connection. (For Your Reference: For network connections with a normal transmission speed of 3Mpbs, a 3GB file will take about 15 min, and a 5GB file less than 30 min to upload.) 6. Productions in English or Chinese Mandarin do NOT require an English or Chinese subtitled screener.
