BZN International Film Festival: A Top-Tier Festival in a World-Renowned Town

As much as it is a showcase for independent cinema from around the world, BZN International Film Festival will also celebrate the delights of Bozeman, Montana and its surrounding areas. Nestled in the stunning Gallatin Valley, Bozeman has become one of the leading destinations in the American West. A mere 90 miles from Yellowstone National Park, 60 miles from the acclaimed Chico Hot Springs and just 15 miles north of the Hyalite Canyon (famous for its pristine waterfalls and robust

wildlife), Bozeman is an outdoor lover’s paradise.

Fishing enthusiasts need look no further than Livingston, a charming town just 25 miles east of Bozeman that offers some of the best fishing in Montana. Historians can relish Virginia City, a beautifully preserved ghost town now declared a National Historic Landmark District.

Downtown, Bozeman offers a bustling Main Street bursting with merchants, expertly curated art galleries and some of the best restaurants in the state. BZN Patrons can enjoy breakfast at a local spot, catch a film at the MSU campus in the early afternoon,

and enjoy light bites at an Old Main Gallery reception for Passholders (there will be two - Friday and Saturday night). After dinner filmgoers can relax at evening screenings in any of BZN’s downtown venues—including the recently renovated Rialto,

a historic and hugely popular spot.

Bozeman merchants, restaurants and bars will offer Passholders generous discounts to enjoy between screenings, and BZN has partnered with local land trusts to provide directions to some of Bozeman’s most popular trails and hikes, as well as information

on accessing Yellowstone and other nearby attractions. In addition, BZN has partnered with several local hotels to offer discounted rates to those attending BZN. Please visit bozemanfilmcelebration.com to purchase passes and to learn more about securing these rates.
