Marion Cotillard sur le tapis rouge du festival de Palm Springs Film Festival

Marion Cotillard à Palm Springs

The most glamorous night of the year in the valley, the Palm Springs International Film Festival's 2010 Awards Gala draws the biggest actors and actresses, celebrity filmmakers, media, industry professionals and film fans from all over the world to kick off the winter awards season in style. Held Tuesday, January 5 at the Palm Springs Convention Center, the black-tie, red carpet event is presented by the preeminent international luxury brand, Cartier, and emceed for the seventh year by the superstar of entertainment media, Entertainment Tonight's Mary Hart.

And then there are the honorees. Ranging from Hollywood legends to young starlets, the Festival's honorees will surely be fixtures on red carpets and international awards stages all season, but they'll light up our slice of the desert first.
