Director: Colleen Pancake.
The film follows a young man named Rob Wilson along his comical and bizarre search for the ‘big questions’ about life, God, and the world. His first answers come from his therapist (author of “I’m ok, what’s wrong with you?”), from his parents in his childhood (who were too distracted by TV and work to care), and from a montage of religious leaders (who all chalk it up to being ‘a mystery’). As a child, he thought he heard ‘Gog’ instead of ‘God’ in Sunday school; he remarks that when he once asked, ‘Gog, are you there?’ he didn’t get an answer probably because he got the name wrong. His journey takes him through possibilities he never considered, and introduces him to new people and ideas. A irreverent comedy about religions where no Dogma is safe!
