Fantastic Planet Film Festival is dedicated to seeking out and encouraging bold new speculative films that explore imagined worlds, universes, and realities; celluloid glimpses of alternative futures, presents, and pasts. And to showcasing this fantastic cargo of cinema to audiences in Sydney, Australia.
Founded by the team behind Australia's leading horror film event - A Night of Horror International Film Festival - Fantastic Planet Film Festival will run for 5 days and nights in October 2009, hosting an exciting program of science fiction and fantasy films, parties and special events.
The festival is currently accepting submissions for the 2009 festival.
