Film Festivals
Festival mission is to increase public`s awareness of independent filmmakers - professional, amateur, and student. Festival is devoted to shorts - 30 minutes or less. Local, national, and international works in VHS & DVD format accepted.
The West Coast Student Film Festival features world-class student films from twenty-five countries. Festival passes are available for $5 by sending checks/money orders to WCS Film Fest, c/o Ticketing Office, 24 Vidal Dr., San Francisco, CA 94132

Presenting the Second Annual West County Film Festival taking place in Sebastopol, CA (USA) on
October 17-19, 2008. Featuring three days of American Indies, World Cinema, Documentaries
and Shorts Programs.
The festival exhibits
films from all over the globe. The first annual festival was in May 2004 and sponsored by Time
Warner Cable. It was held at the beautiful Madrid Theater which has 500
seats.
Focuses on limited released foreign and domestic features (35mm only) as well as short films, comprising a variety of genres. Filmmakers, distributors, producers, animators, screenwriters, scholars, and journalists appear as guests.
The mission of the WCFF is to encourage and support the work of independent filmmakers and screenwriters. We have a particular interest in screening the work of students and first time filmmakers. Local, national and international films accepted.
"This is a guerilla film festival THAT GIVES 100% OF ITS PROFITS BACK TO THE FILMMAKERS IN THE FORM OF GRANTS TOWARD THEIR NEXT FILM. This all digital (DV) festival is most interested in the new wave of cinema artists.
All film entries are set in the Old West or contemporary works reflectins its values, history or culture.All films part of the overall National Festival of the West.

Wet West Film Festival celebrates water in all its forms, and uses film to tell stories of lives and environments affected by water. Annually calling for digital tales told around the sea, rivers, ice, snow, rain - anywhere water affects lives.
