Clémentine Célarié a fait de la comédie (légère) son terrain de jeu de prédilection tant au cinéma qu’au théâtre en passant par la télé mais son talent ne s’arrête pas là: la comédienne peut s’approprier des textes plus « sérieux » comme ceux d’Arthur Miller ou de Guy de Maupassant. C’est donc naturellement que pour son premier long en tant que réalisatrice, elle a choisi d’adapter (librement) le quatrième roman de ce dernier « Pierre et Jean».
