European Film Awards
The European Film Awards are presented in 15 categories and take place in Berlin every second year. Every year, the various activities of the European Film Academy culminate in the ceremony of the European Film Awards which are presented jointly with EFA Productions GmbH. In a total of 18 categories, among them European Film, European Director, European Actress and European Actor, the European Film Awards annually honour the greatest achievements in European cinema. The awards ceremony takes place in Berlin every second year. Lors du festival International du Film d'Oldenburg en Allemagne, la European Film Academy a annoncé les films nominés pour le prix DÉCOUVERTE EUROPÉENNE - Prix FIPRESCI, décerné chaque année en coopération avec la Fédération Internationale des critiques à un jeune et prometteur réalisateur d’un premier long métrage. Les nominations ont été désignées cette année par un comité composé des Membres du Directoire EFA : Dagmar Jacobsen, (Allemagne) et Angeles González-Sinde (Espagne), du réalisateur et nominé en 2015, Tom Sommerlatte (Allemagne) et des experts Mihai Chirilov (Cluj FF, Roumanie), et des représentants FIPRESCI Isabelle Danel (France), Krzysztof Kwiatkowski (Pologne) et Neil Young (Royaume-Uni). A l'invitation du festival, le comité s’est réuni à Oldenburg et a retenu les nominations suivantes.

La European Film Academy félicite les nominés. Ils seront désormais soumis aux votes de plus de 3,000 membres de l’EFA afin d’élire le lauréat. Le prix Découverte Européenne 2016 – Prix FIPRESCI sera révélé lors de la Cérémonie des European Film Awards à Wroclaw, Capitale de la Culture Européenne, le samedi 10 décembre – diffusée en streaming sur www.europeanfilmawards.eu.
