This is an overview of my 2011 Sundance experience
For Europeans, heading to a remote mining town now ski resort and festival headquarters in Park City, Utah, tucked away in the Wasatch mountains outside of Salt Lake City, it's no simple journey. It entails careful planning several months in advance, serious budgetary calculation to secure a bed in those expensive shared- condos, and blocking extra time to your return schedule as flipping time zones wrecks havoc with your metabolism a...

"HOSTAGES" IS THE HISTORY OF THE DIRECTOR OF THEATRE WHO MEETS INVOLVED IN THE EVENTS OF THE CAPTURE AND RESCUE OF THE RESIDENCE OF THE AMBASSADOR OF JAPAN IN PERU, A POLITICAL LOBBIE DURING THE GOVERNMENT OF ALBERTO FUJIMORI (1996 - ' 97). At the cost of THE LIFE GIVE 72 HOSTAGES IN A COMPASS OF WAIT GIVE 122 DAYS.
SINOPSIS:

The Berlinale Shorts is celebrating its birthday. In the section’s fifth year, the films being presented are elegant and eloquent in both form and content. They consistently and subversively question, evade, vary and expand the many possible paths open to cinema. The films leave new marks in the cinematic landscape, and show that there are no boundaries that cannot be overcome, and no formal rules that cannot be breached. For it is in breaching them that the offer for discourse arises. The fil...

itinerary and Manhattan is, you could do worse than to savor a
week of Big Apple screenings from and about Latin America and
the Caribbean, and about Latinos in the U.S.
