The 2010 Palm Springs International ShortFest announced that it has selected 314 films from more than 3,000 worldwide entries. After late night wrangling a settlement was reached between the Walt Disney Company and the UK's largest exhibition chain which is also the largest in Europe and largest in the world outside of North America to allow screening of Tim Burton's Alice.
