Together with the fmx - Conference on Animation, Effects, Games and Interactive Media, the Internationale Trickfilm-Festival Stuttgart - Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) is developing into the biggest and most important meeting in the world of animated film. Founded in 1982, the Festival of Animated Film has always promoted artistic animated films, young talented artists and the entire animated film sector. The prize categories, with prize money of over 50,000 Euros, attract the newest and most up-to-date animation films from around the world.
