Director: Robin Das.
The protagonist of this film is a poet who though revolutionary in spirit, has to compromise with the wrongs in the society. His perturbed soul could not tolerate it much longer however. It possessed his body to govern his actions. Ectoplasm can give a spirit form, but can it make it humane? That was a question that the poet's late wife could never answer. While she had been alive, she was a mere love-interest of her husband! The poet's daughter is quite unlike both her parents. How can she defy this patriarchal society? The story of this film is all about the search of the soul to find the correct rhythm of life. Not a poem, not a folk-lore, not a social drama, what is the true identity of this film ? The individual search finds a universal resonance in the language of this film.

There are four elements that make up the foundation of my memories and of my present, that is to say, of me. They gave birth to and laced themselves through all the situations that mold my life.
Two of them arrived at the same time, while I was
still a child: my mother’s garden and my father’s library. I remember
the first one deeply; like a cloudy horizon: a forest of roses, with
stems that reached to the sky… and the secon...

- Ziya HOMAYOON, with his 37-minute avant-garde short action film `RAZOR, CLOUD, MOUSE`
Born March 11, 1976, Ziya Homayoon entered the artistic arena in 1995. So far, he has made seven movies, including two documentaries, one docudrama and three short action movies.
The film is about a young filmmaker who wanders around the town to find the right subject and we see the film through his camera. There, he comes across a young girl who is determined to commit suicide. He follows her. She fails to commit suicide three times. The fourth time while she is about to jump off the roof of a building, he arrives and tries to prevent her. They talk to each other and meanwhile he finds out that she has problem with men, all men, her father, brother, her boyfriend and all others and that she is fed up with people's attitude towards girls like her. At that moment, we see them swap places and the young filmmaker is in front of the camera. Then, he talks about his own problems which seem very similar to the girl`s and now he wants to jump off the roof. She runs to him and we see the boy being hurled down the building. The boy dies. The girl edits his film, registers it at some festivals and wins several awards. In an interview, she claims that she has gone through so many hardships to make the film.
