The World Trailer Awards are today announcing a new initiative made possible thanks to AMD. The global initiative turns a spotlight on the depth of emerging talent within the entertainment marketing industry.

The World Trailer Awards celebrates outstanding entertainment marketing across Cinema, TV (Broadcast & Cable), Games, Podcast & Radio, and Streaming Services. Emerging creative talent from across the globe are urged to submit their entertainment marketing content into the upcoming 2023 Awards. Entry fees for the five awards will be generously covered by AMD. 

The talented ‘emerging industry’ entrants have the incredible opportunity to showcase their creative entertainment marketing work to a worldwide panel of distinguished judges.  All works selected by the judges for the AMD Together We Advance_Entertainment Award are invited to participate in the main competition and will be entered into the Best Emerging Global Talent categories for Cinema, TV (Broadcast & Cable), Games, Podcast & Radio, and Streaming Services.

Judges this year include James Knight, Global Media & Entertainment Director and VFX Director at AMD; Sunita Uchil, Executive Vice President of Zee Entertainment; Tim Struthers, Head of Programme Brands at Sky Studios; Xavier Savant, Creative Director and President of Glassell House; Samira Rafi, Creative Director & President of Boomerang Communications; Craig Edwards, Vice-President  Creative for Deadline, Bec Mortimer, Marketing Director; Chris Skinner, VP Entertainment, Somethin’ Else / Sony Music Entertainment and Mimi Bartels, Head of Production (Co-Head), FilmOn and Bruno Chatelin (filmfestivals.com co founder).

Entries must be submitted by January 15, 2023 and are sectioned into Emerging Talent categories of: Cinema, TV (Broadcast & Cable), Gaming, Podcast, Radio, and Streaming Services. The final winner of each category will receive a Radeon™ Pro Graphics Card, courtesy of AMD. Winners will be announced at the World Trailer Awards Show on 25 February 2023 in Algarve, Portugal, and streamed via Media Partner, Deadline on 26 February 2023.

Serving as a new standard of excellence for the world’s entertainment marketing industry, the World Trailer Awards highlights the importance of creative marketing concepts as the conduit to bringing entertainment products to life to entice the potential viewer to deliver audiences and driving revenues for the global entertainment industry.
