Updated Call for Submissions and Information

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS – U of T Film Festival

The University of Toronto Film Festival seeks the following:

- short films, videos and animations of any length, genreand topic

- super 8 films under 3-minutes

- ‘shitty films’ for our annual Shitty Film Contest

- installation art, including site-specific proposals

- photographic installations

- films and videos of any length that address social justiceissues, especially social entrepreneurship – innovative solutions to socialproblems.

 

The deadline for submissions is February 8th. Earlysubmissions encouraged.

The Festival takes place on March 13, 2010 at Hart House,University of Toronto

 

CALL FOR FILM FESTIVAL PARTNERS

Student groups are invited to propose their own program tobe included in the Festival. For example, invite club members to make shortmovies and combine them into a short program (and promote your club) or seekout interesting films that you would like to show to bring attention toimportant issues.

 

Deadline to propose a program is January 18. Early proposalsencouraged.

About the Festival:

The U of T Film Festival celebrates the University ofToronto’s rich contribution to the arts through its student and alumni film andvideo makers. Now in its ninth year, the festival also welcomes films andvideos from all emerging and established filmmakers, though we have not lostour focus on student work. For the 2010 edition our special guest will be BabakPayami.
