Not often can one transcend from the industry's most famous stuntwoman to leading lady but gorgeous New Zealand daredevil, ZOE BELL breaks down these barriers as she stars in the upcoming Universal futuristic blockbuster, “Oblivion,” opposite Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman, Melissa Leo and Olga Kuylendo, opening wide April 19th.

Set 60 years after an alien invasion has destroyed the planet, “Oblivion” is an action packed, adventure thriller which pays homage to the classic science fiction films of the 1970s. Zoe portrays "Kara," the female protagonist of the Morgan Freeman-led underground group of renegades, who have the inside track on how to save the planet.

Best known as Quentin Tarantino’s go to stuntwoman, Bell, has worked on dozens of high profile thrillers including Kill Bill Vol. 1&2, Inglorious Bastards, Django Unchained and the cult TV favorite, Xena: Warrior Princess. With an impressively established resume of stunt work, and a bold transition into starring roles, Bell has now combined her talents in her newest project, “Raze” (Cinipix). In the much anticipated thriller, which will premiere at the TriBeca Film Festival later this month, Bell not only stars but also produces the film, choreographing many of the stunts and setting the overall vision for the fight scenes.

Dubbed the female 'Fight Club meets Hostel,' “Raze” -- which co-stars Rachel Nichols and Sherilyn Fenn with a cameo by Rosario Dawson -- has been creating a tremendous buzz with its gritty and intriguing trailer. Bell plays Sabrina, a woman, along with 50 others, who has been abducted and forced to fight for her survival in front of an unseen crowd of rich socialites.
