The Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) will host an exciting lineup of special events to connect our audiences with a range of countries, regions, genres and themes with widespread appeal under the TIFF Vision: Expansive, Empowering, Enlightening.

In addition to Roppongi Hills and EX Theater Roppongi, a new venue is being added this year: the Tokyo Midtown Hibiya.

The festival will host TIFF Plus, a series of diverse cultural events in collaboration with other organizations to more widely share the joys of cinema and cultivate cultural exchanges. In addition, we will reprise exciting events by popular demand, including all-night events and free open-air screenings.

The 31st TIFF will take place October 25 – November 3, 2018 at Roppongi Hills, EX Theater Roppongi, Hibiya Step Open Space and other venues in Tokyo.
