Time is Eternal - Short Film

In 2007, the dynamic husband and wife filmmaker duo of Bayou Bennett and Daniel Lir founded “Dream Team Directors”. Their vision was to combine imagination, humor, beauty and a desire to positively impact the world through their stunning creative work.

They started their collaboration as writer/directors with the viral hit “Text Me” which won multiple awards, was featured in Teen Vogue, Seventeen, NY Press and voted for honors by Execs at Fox Searchlight, DreamWorks, MTV, New Regency. The film quite literally captured the texting and Facebook generation and was praised by Producers such as Doug Claybourne “War of the Roses”, “Fast and the Furious” and Martin Brown’s “Moulin Rouge”.

In their 13 years of working as a stellar team, they have had the opportunity to collaborate, direct and produce with great talents such as Oscar nominee Mark Ruffalo, Oscar nominee Juliette Lewis, Golden Globe nominee Anthony Mackie, Lea Michele of Fox's "Glee"and "Scream Queens", Coldplay, P. Diddy, Paris Hilton, Lindsey Stirling and top model, Bella Hadid.

Their most recent inspiring drama, “Tombstone Pillow” shot in a Manila cemetery where 6,000 families live received a flood of awards including Best Drama, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography and Best Short Film which brings their total festival wins to 50.

TIME IS ETERNAL is labelled one of Bruno Chatelin 's BEST FOR FESTS

Berite Labelle BIO of a woman of the world

Berite Labelle
A woman of the world, Berite was born in her mother’s hometown of Tiraspol, Moldova. At age four, she moved to Bosnia and on to Germany before landing in Geneva, Switzerland at six years old. Always a lover of language, she speaks fluent Russian, French and English, with a working knowledge of Spanish, Italian and Arabic.

This talent of communicating in multiple dialects is a trait shared with her late father, Moise Neroum Ngadande, who spoke seven languages and hailed from Chad, Africa. His globe-trotting job for the United Nations sparked her own sense of adventure.

“I think my father always knew that he would leave this world early; I feel like he wanted to see me as a grown woman, well educated and well dressed, before he left when I was 14 years old,” she says. “So when I was about six, I started to slip on my mom’s fashionable clothes and colorful high heels. My father loved taking playful videos and pictures, as I modeled. That was something fun for us!

With a flair for the dramatic, modeling came naturally to Berite. Her distinctive look and perspective spring from her mother’s Russian-Moldovian background combined with her father’s French-African heritage.

Interest in the business of fashion deepened as she studied commerce for three years at the Collège et École de Commerce Émilie-Gourd in Geneva, while apprenticing for the Swiss luxury timepiece and jewelry company, Bucherer 1888.
Berite made her runway debut in 2015 at Dukascopy Bank’s monthly Geneva Forex Events at Four Seasons Hotel Des Bergues. Through 2017, she participated in the tech-savvy catwalk presentation of luxe fashion brands such as La Perla, Versace and Hervé Legér for an audience of financial professionals, which is aired on global television channel, Dukascopy TV.

Her catalog work led to a starring role in the 2016-2017 print catalog for the Michaud luxury jewelry and watch shop in Switzerland. In October 2021, she covered and was featured in both Glamour Bulgaria and Bold, the Canadian travel and lifestyle magazine. November 2021 marks a Vogue Ukraine cover, followed by a second Glamour Bulgaria cover in December. A Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam cover will drop in January 2022.
Berite’s lifelong dream of becoming an actor is being realized since her move to the United States in 2019, after earning a partial scholarship to the one-year Acting Conservatory Program at the New York Film Academy in L.A. She is currently pursuing an Associate of Fine Arts (AFA) degree in Acting For Film and has completed her first short film, Time is Eternal.

Ever a dancer, the rhythms of the world speak to Berite. From Geneva to Burbank, she has practiced ballet, African dance, modern jazz, belly dance and heels. Dance movements are often incorporated into her acting performances as an innate means of self-expression.
