Overall, the festival will showcase 25 awarded films, from 10 different countries. Films like the Tunisian feature Benzine, directed by Sarah Abidi , the Zyang Yang directed Chinese feature, Paths of the Soul, Cheang Pu-soi directed Chinese feature, The Monkey King-2, Chinese documentary film Shaolin Kung Fu Monks, directed by Duffy Wang, Kiumars Pourahmad directed Iranian feature, Where are My Shoes, Iranian feature Katyusha, directed by Ali Atshani, Iranian short film, The Castle, directed by Saba Ghasemi, Israeli feature, Saving Neta, directed by Nir Bergman, Israeli documentary film, Family Typewriter, directed by Chana Anzi Zalis, Ori Aharon directed Israeli short, Rubber Dolphin, Roni Ashernizky--Yulia Zavt directed Israeli animation film, Cathriel, Yonatan Hashiloni directed, Roach, Israel’s Efrat Chen Weiss--Naor Zana--Netta Bar directed, Two Of Every Kind, Syrian feature, Rain of Homs, directed by Joud Said, French film Barbara, directed by Mathieu Amalric, French feature, La Douleur, directed by Emmanul Finkiel, Louis Barche directed French short film, Goliath, French short, Benoit Martin directed, La Convention De Genève and Julie Gourdain directed, Un Grand Silence, will be screened in RIFF 2019, under Focus Country Films. Films of Film Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, which have been honoured by the Government of India, including the Amar Kaushik directed, The Grandfather (Aaba), South Korean short film My Turn, directed by Kim Na-kyung, documentary student film Withering House, directed by Shreyas Dasharathe, and the animation film, Tokri/The Basket, directed by Suresh Eriyat, will also be screened in the5th Edition of RIFF. On the theme of the Mahatma, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, the film based his life, entitled The Making of Mahatma, directed by Shyam Benegal and starring Rajit Kapur, will be also screening during RIFF 2019.
