Calling entries for FIPRESCI Grand Prix for the best film of 2024, 70 minutes and more FIPRESCI extends this invitation to you to film-makers to submit films (70 minutes and above) for the annual FIPRESCI India Grand Prix Award for the year 2024. About the Award: The Grand Prix Award, instituted by FIPRESCI-India (the India chapter of the International Federation of Film Critics: FIPRESCI) seeks to celebrate and recognize outstanding achievements in fiction and non-fiction filmmaking. The award comprises not only prestigious accolades but also a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/- and a commemorative plaque. We acknowledge Custard Apple as a steadfast sponsor of the award money for the past five years. Selection Process: Distinguished members of FIPRESCI-India will be engaged in a secret voting process in two phases to select the winner of the Grand Prix Award. Out of more than hundred films received annually, the Top-10 will be carefully chosen by the 1st phase of secret voting and published on our IMDB page @ FIPRESCI India Grand Prix Awards. From these Top-10, the Best One will be selected again by the 2nd phase of secret voting for the Grand Prix Award. Submission Details: Only the Indian fiction and non-fiction films (70 minutes and above) premiered or released (whichever is earlier) anywhere in the world between 1st January and 31 December 2024 are eligible for consideration.
