Red Sea International Film FestivalThe third edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival (RedSeaIFF) will run in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from November 30 till December 9, 2023. The Red Sea International Film Festival brings the best in Arab and World Cinema to Jeddah Old Town. The Festival showcases exciting new films on the Saudi big-screen, alongside retrospective programs celebrating the masters of cinema, the latest Saudi films, and feature and short film competitions. There are also industry events and workshops nurturing the next generation of talent. In ‘Celebration of Women in Cinema’, the Red Sea International Film Festival (RedSeaIFF), hosted a gala event this evening at the 75th Cannes International Film Festival on the grounds of the magnificent Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes. RSIFF In-Conversations happening at this year’s festival in Jeddah with Jackie Chan, Akshay Kumar, Nadine Labaki, Guy Ritchie...The Red Sea International Film Festival (RedSeaIFF) in partnership with VOX Cinemas and the MBC GROUP, today announced its stellar line up of In-Conversations happening at this year’s festival in Jeddah. Cinema talents including Jackie Chan, Akshay Kumar, Nadine Labaki and Guy Ritchie are just some of the renowned artists participating in the strong series of In-Conversations at the Festival, which will celebrate highly lauded directors, legendary actors and actresses, and emergent international filmmakers. Of particular interest to those following this year’s international awards circuit are the In-Conversation with the director of Blonde, Andrew Dominik, and the previously announced In-Conversation with Bones And All director, Luca Guadagnino. Mohammed Al Turki, CEO of the RedSeaIFF, said: “Our schedule of In-Conversations taking place at this year’s Festival brings together some of the leading voices in international, Bollywood and Arab cinema, sharing their journeys to the big screen and the wisdom that they have learned along the way. We are thrilled to be able to further share their voices with Saudi audiences, and honour this truly eclectic group with our powerful series of intimate, in-depth conversations.” The full list of those participating includes: Academy Award-winners Spike Lee and Jackie Chan, Academy Award-nominees Andy Garcia and Luca Guadagnino, legendary actors Akshay Kumar, Nelly Karim, Ranbir Kapoor, and Hrithik Roshan, renowned actress/director Nadine Labaki, and acclaimed directors Guy Ritchie, Gurinder Chadha, Andrew Dominik, Fatih Akin, Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Kaouther Ben Hania, Michel Ocelot, and Gaspar Noé.
