With groundbreaking songs like “Tear It Up” and “Train Kept a Rollin” – the latter classic which has been recorded by numerous artists from Aerosmith to Motorhead, their fame rose, but so did the tension, sending the brothers off in to opposite directions tearing the band apart into solo careers. They were a family United by Blood-Divided by Fame. Fame and friction would trickle down to Johnny and Dorsey‘s sons as they would carry on their families talent and burden as the competitive edge between the dads passes down a generation to the sons as the thirty –plus year feud between Billy and Rocky rages on. Johnny’s son Rocky Burnette would leave his mark on the charts with the worldwide number one song “Tired Of Toein’ The Line” in 1980, while Dorsey’s son Billy would follow in his father’s melodic footsteps into a decade of performing as a member of Fleetwood Mac. Sally Steele’s adventure takes her across the United States and concludes bringing Rocky, Billy and the members of the family together for one final dramatic and exciting performance at the end of the film, trying to heal the rift that rocked the world and tore a family apart echoing down a generation to the family “Raised On Rock“.
