CLEMENCY movie free thru 7/31 & Alfre Woodard joins BLM Global co-founder Patrisse Cullors

by Quendrith Johnson, Los Angeles Correspondent

In American, or in a deeply divided America, right now, women sometimes appear to be split into "Karen" and "non-Karen" camps. But the reality is, the issues that divide are more complicated than the duality we are seeing right now.

That said, actor/activist Alfre Woodward from CLEMENCY is teaming up with others to take the #BLM discussion to another level using this NEON release from 2019 as a reference point. Read on...

New York, NY: From today through Friday, July 31st, NEON has made the critically acclaimed film CLEMENCY available to stream for free on Apple TV, Amazon and Fandago Now, Redbox On Demand, Spectrum, Xfinity, Verizon FIOS, Dish, Cox and Altice. CLEMENCY is also currently streaming on Hulu. NEONlogo2020

Actor Alfre Woodard will join writer/activist/co-founder of the Black Lives Matter Global movement Patrisse Cullors in a virtual conversation using ‘Clemency’ as a framework for a discussion on race, criminal (in)justice and incarceration.

This special conversation will be hosted by SAG and open to the public on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at 1:00 PM PT/ 4:00 PM ET.  Free RSVP here

CLEMENCY Recap
