My name is Pauline, and i am a student in a communication school called "EFAP". I came for the first time to the Palace of the "Festival de Cannes" on may 15th to meet all others students who will work during the Cannes Festival and to know more about what we will all be doing. That day i learned that i will work for "Le marché du Film".

Probably you don't know what it is so i am going to try to explain what it is! In the Festival of Cannes there is two big parts. One part is the artistic world and the other is the commercial world. "Le marché du Film" that we can translate as "the movie market" is more the commercial world. They organize some movies projections that they sell. Producers come to watch it and perhaps buy it. Also a tradeshow is organized. A lot of people from the movie world are here to show people interested in what they do.

In this blog i choose to talk to you about different jobs that we can do during the festival.

A lot of people when we talk about the festival just know about the red carpet and the actors or which movie will be projected but in reallity, it is more than that. A lot of people work during the Festival. So i choose to talk about that to let people who can enter in the Palace know what it is happenning in it.
