The mission of the festival is to produce a world class film festival that will inspire, promote and support women filmmakers, is equally devoted to supporting and enriching local women filmmakers and to serve our community by contributing to the economy and its diverse cultural population. ![]() Filmmakers from 17 Countries Enter Inaugural Palm Beach Women’s International Film Festival
Womenfilmmakers from every corner of the globe have submitted more than 200 entriesto the first-ever Palm Beach Women's International Film Festival. Thecompetition has attracted movies from Europe, North and South America,Australia, India, Japan, Mongolia and Iran. The final deadline forgeneral entries is February 1, 2011...be sure to get your entry in and be part ofthis inaugural Women's Film Festival. Filmsmay be entered into 6 categories: Documentary, Short, Feature Film, YoungWomen's High School, Young Women's College and Young Women's College -Animation.Submissions can be made at the website, www.pbwiff.com,through Withoutabox. Student films will be accepted until February 28th. Takingplace April 7- 10, 2011, in Palm Beach County, Florida, the festival includesscreenings at four venues, several parties, educational seminars and more.
