La Biennale di Venezia is pleased to announce the first of two Countries in Focus for this edition of the Venice Production Bridge (September 1 - 6, 2022).
FRANCE IN FOCUS supported by Unifrance
After successfully launching the country focus at the previous edition with the Netherlands, for the second year the Venice Production Bridge will further highlight projects with their filmmakers and producers at the Venice Gap-Financing Market, publishers with their recent publications available for adaptation at the Book Adaptaion Rights Market, the works in progress co-productions at Final Cut in Venice and Immersive projects and VR/XR/AR creatives, VFX and post-production companies connected to Immersive content. A 180-degree look at the state of the French Industry and filmmaking community will be given through a series of dedicated panels, meetings and networking events and by the attendance of a large delegation of French professionals and decision makers (public funds, festivals, producers, Immersive experts, private financial institutions, sales agents and distributors...). The whole programme of the Venice Production Bridge will be announced next week, but here below are already some highlights from the country focus programme to look forward to.
