Day 8: Official selection of the 73 International Film Festival of Venice, press activities at the Venice Movie Stars Lounge

On September 7th the Venice Movie Stars Lounge hosted the actress Natalie Portman and the director of the in competition film Jackie, Pablo Larrain. The two talent, arrived aboard of two Jaguar F – PACE, answered the questions of the journalists in the garden and inside the lounge, hobnobbing in television and print interviews. The film takes place in the four days between the murder of JFK and the day of his funeral. The story focuses on the conflict between the now former First Lady pledged to give a last farewell to her husband and the new President Lyndon Johnson whose sole purpose is to assert their leadership by joining the White House as soon as possible.
